A METAPHOR FOR I DON'T KNOW WHAT

Howdy ya'll. This here bulletin is to remind you what fer about the Pickle and Pickens Winter Solstice party Saturday the 22nd in the good ole month of December. The party is hosted by Dan and Sara Jackson. Both are over 25 and live with their mother. But mama is leaving the house for a vacation and so it's time to get rowdy!

This here hullabaloo takes place around 6pm. You can come later, but, one might say, as far as pickles and curries go, (Sara is making whole wagonloads of curries, she sure likes them curries) the pickens may be a bit slimmer. Come hungry. Bring hooch. We'll have some beer and gin, what fer your martinis with pickled onions and whatnot, but if you've got in mind to get your own self pickled, well, I'll tell you what partner, you best bring your own just to make sures. Yahoo! You know what I mean! I like to get drunk and mean and tells all the other fellers what I think about them. And then I'll kiss myself a purty lady.

Also bring your harmonicas, geetars, ukeles, hippie-drums, circuit-bended Speak and Spells, jingle/gamelan bells, shakers, Casio Keyboards and finger cymbals, because we'll be having a little communal music making. I don't like them Britney Spears and Michael Jacksons and Celine Dions and what have you. I like myself a little neo-psychedelica. Maybe something with a pulse, but very little modulation. Something I could only call Nintendo Hindu. Personally, I like myself a little Captain Beefheart, Charley Pride, and early Kraftwerk. But we'll see what happens. I'll bring my collection of just-intonated jugs for our Harry Partch hoe-down.

Bring your family, bring your friends. No animals with fur. I don't like them furry animals. I'd take it out back and shoot it, gut it, dress it, tan it and wear it. Yahoo! Nah, I'm just kidding. But seriously, no pets.
